BJD Azu-nah WIP 3.0 by felineflames BJD Azu-nah WIP 3.0 by felineflames
Large fullview is large.

I've been rather bummed out lately, so I figured I should upload something.

I've been working on this on and off for... ever. I sculpted, I baked, I strung and realized stuff had warped in the oven, I cursed gravity, I re-sculpted, I baked, I re-strung and decided that joints are a stupid invention, I imbibed and cried into my bottle, I re-re-sculpted... And it's finally, finally looking vaguely like a creature! It's been worth the work.

A few notes on this. It's not held together with pipe cleaner. It's actually held together with elastic string. The pipe cleaner is just stuffed into the last chunk there, and represents the prehensile tail. It will eventually be the same color as everything else (once I've bitten the bullet and painted this sumbitch)

Now I have to figure out ears.. and a mane.. crap. D:

Little magnets. :) They are glued inside, one on the cap, one on the head, and they hold it together nicely.

They are called "rare earth magnets," and unfortunately I got mine years ago from an ebay seller that is no longer in business. Try searching for them there, or maybe in Google. :)

Lol, your commentary is awesome. I cannot imagine how hard it would be to make a toy.

It's not as hard as it seems. There's just a lot of trial and error involved for this because it's not like a normal bipedal action figure..
